How much
better is my guitar after being plek`d?
This question can be answered simply:
It depends on how good or bad the guitar was before. Even a guitar with good
playability can often be improved. But of course the difference is more
obvious the more the fret were warn and how Inadequate the setup was
beforehand.
Which string
action is the best for me?
“As low as possible without any buzz!”
This request may stand to reason, but does say much. If dressing frets
traditionally by hand or with the help of plek technology: It all depends on
the individual playing style. A harder attack requires a higher string
action, and vice versa. This requires a different neck relief and in turn
influences the trussrod adjustment and dressing of the frets. For many
players plek Medium offers a setup that is very comfortable to play. But
still some player would find this action to low others would say it feels
the high.
